Regional Field Application Engineer (Multiple Openings)

Job Duties:

 • Contribute knowledge and expertise to support ATP’s customers, sales, engineering and product business units

• Understand customer product and technical requirements

• Own customer cases, FA reports, and manage related technical documentation

• Engage in collaborative field failure analysis and debug onsite at customer locations

• Proactively and continually learn to strengthen knowledge of ATP products, roadmaps and services, SSD diagnostic tools and protocol analyzers/debug equipment 

Job Requirements:

 • Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.

• Ability to manage cases, generate and review technical reports and collaboratively solve customer issues

• Ability to travel for on-site failure analysis per customer requirements and urgency

• BSEE/CE/CS required, MSEE/CE/CS preferred

• Prior field experience of 4+ years

• OS, Windows, Linux and others is highly desired

• Prior knowledge of electronics, computer/system hardware highly desired

• Prior knowledge of NAND SSDs and DRAM preferred

• Semiconductor experience preferred

Technical Sales and Application Engineering Manager

Job Duties:

SATA and NVMe SSD/Embedded SSD is a rapidly growing product segment at ATP Electronics Inc. As a Technical Program Management/Business Development Engineer/Manager, you will be part of the Global Business Development team directly involved with product development, engineering, quality assurance and customer facing teams. The role involves an understanding of various aspects of the SSD product along with an understanding on what it takes to integrate and validate the product. Knowledge on supporting the customer qualifications both from a specification requirements and quality aspect is part of the scope of this job.

In this role you will be responsible for understanding and interpreting customer requirements to ATP teams for developing solid-state drives from definition to internal qualification, customer qualification support, product launch and ramp into volume manufacturing. This will involve product planning, project planning, schedules, understanding product capability and characterization, qualification requirements, completing product qualification, customer support, etc. You will also be a key member of the product core team and work with other key functions like sales, marketing, and field application engineers.

You will also share responsibility of training sales personnel and conduct interactive knowledge transfer sessions with customers.

Job Requirements:
  • 2-4 years or equivalent experience with a technology company in the semiconductor domain
  • Prior experience working with Tier 1 and Tier 2 OEMs is preferred
  • Broad experience across product management, marketing, sales and business development roles
  • Background/knowledge in NAND SSD storage/Flash memory is highly preferred
  • Background/knowledge in DRAM memory is desirable
  • Professional and strong communication and presentation skills, both external to customers and internal to ATP HQ (Taiwan)
  • Ability to work with cross functional groups to solve issues and define efficient processes
  • Ability to problem solve and work independently and collectively
  • BSCS or BSEE, MSCE/MSCS/MSEE preferred
  • Ability to travel domestic and international (20%-30%)

Account Manager- West Coast

Job Duties:

ATP Electronics is a leading solutions provider of high performance, high quality and durable NAND flash and DRAM memory modules.
ATP continues to focus on mission critical applications such as industrial/automation, telecom, medical, automotive, and enterprise computing where high levels of technical expertise, manufacturing quality, and wide operating temperature ranges.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience selling memory in the industry. Candidates should also have practical experience working with DRAM and NAND Flash products. 

• As a member of the ATP sales team you will be responsible for presenting the ATP memory technology, products and solutions to ATP’s extensive sales rep networks and prospective customers.

• Active knowledge in the storage and semiconductor market space

• OEM experience

• Knowledge of SSD, Flash, DRAM technology

• Previous proven track record of incremental sales increases

• Tier 1 account experience preferred • Ability to communicate technically on product related issues and advocate for issues that require assistance from the ATP FAE, PM and CQA team

• Present Company overview presentation, product demonstrations, and gather customer requirements.

• Domestic travel is required BSEE/CS or equivalent is preferred but not required. 

• 3-5 years of sales experience in Memory Products,

• Key account management experience Preferred

• Demonstrable experience and expertise with memory architecture in Linux and Windows-based systems a big Plus

Field Application Engineer (m/f)

Job Duties:

For our location in Unterschleißheim near Munich, Germany 

The position`s responsibility is to support the sales team members in areas of technical business development and sustaining projects including

FA Case Management

  • l   Be the case manager of a FA case.

    l   Be the contact window for customer in a FA case and manage the communication.

    l   Review and/or compile FA report; deliver and explain FA report to customers.

  • Technical and Sales Support
  • l   Support account manager on explaining ATP products, roadmaps, engineering capability and services.

    l   Team up with account managers and product managers to engage OEM projects.

    l   Work with account managers on confirming OEM customer’s requirements and testing criteria.

    l   Work with account manager to hold training sessions for customers, distributers and reps.

  • Debugging
  • l   Conduct testing to replicate failure, inspect product and perform preliminary failure analysis upon request

    l   Visit customer for a lab session for on-site debugging and protocol logging

    l   Test and validate an ATP solution

Job Requirements:
  • l   A Bachelor's degree in engineering or another technology-related field like EE, CS, and CE.

    l   Demonstrate sound communication and case management (FA and OEM) capability/skill:

    l   Capability/skill to talk to customers in a con-call

    l   Be confident to talk and present in a face to face meeting

    l   Good on email and reports writing
